Waste of Time, May be Good for Indian People

Truelancer is not a mature freelancing platform. It still needs a lot of improvement to become useable as an international freelancing website. In its current state, it can probably be used by freelancers within India. Anyone from outside feels like an alien on a different planet. If you are not an Indian then I recommend you to stay away from Truelancer as it will only result in a waste of time and unnecessary sharing of your data. You are required to fill in your sensitive information such as birth date, profile picture, etc. Only submit them if you are willing to use them.
For now, even for Indian freelancers, it's not a better option than other mature websites that already exist.
Poor projects that barely reach the $100 mark, you are likely to build a complete website for $5 lol. Did you get the idea?
