They lost me and they are losing their remaining clients faster than their claimed hosting speed. What a shame to see such a used to be good hosting company destroying itself with both hands.
Their support team has become a nightmare, it seems that they have fired their old staff and hired newbies who know nothing other than giving lollipops to the clients.
When they were hosting us on their own servers, it was much better and less troublesome.
Then God knows why they decided to change everything starting from removal of Cpanel.
Then they decided to shift to Google servers, why on earth would someone want to buy Google services from SiteGround? Who taught them business! Their hosting has become as ridiculous and immature as their website which is probably designed by a child.
Their web hosting is now even slower than some shared hostings. Website sometimes doesnt load at all due to God knows what. If you contact their support they claim they don't have any downtime in their knowledge. I even showed them the screen shots of my websites being timed out probably due to cloud node issues but hey said its my website’s fault.
Now you tell me, the same websites were working fine on their older setup and then after all their so called upgrades the same websites started to show time outs. Literally no change in my websites, it was just their hosting setup which changed at their backend.
SiteGround! I am not the only client that left you, look at your records, i am a webmaster and i am part of a network and i know many other webmasters who left you for good.
They were good at a time but now they are just trying to en-cash their old repute and they are just as good as a good shared hosting. I am giving them 3 stars just because of their good past and in the hope that they will correct their mistakes.
SiteGround.com is very costly and their support can probably ranked in top few worst supports in the hosting companies history.
There are many other options available in the same price slab or even lower prices than SiteGround. Save your money and your website’s repute, watch out for those website timeouts if you are using their hosting.
