Always Make Video While Opening Lazada Packages
I have learned this the hard way so I thought I should share my experience with all the Lazada customers. I have sent my girlfriend a cell phone from Lazada as an engagement gift. She was desperately waiting for the gift and when it arrived, what she found inside the package was a stone. Yes, literally a STONE! The seller probably weighted the cell phone and replaced it with a stone with the similar weight or may be the guys from the shipment company did so. I contacted Lazada support and told them the entire story but they refused to refund and asked me to provide a video proof of the unpackaging of the cell phone. How could my girlfriend anticipated that she will get a stone from a cell phone package? I lost the money that’s bad but I have ruined my repute in the eyes of my girlfriend which is the worst thing. Thanks to the Lazada, I will try my best to avoid them in future as they have left me with a really bad memory.
I have been ordering small items from Lazada and didn’t face any major issues other than late and sometimes extremely late deliveries. This was my first expensive purchase from then which ended up the worst possible way.
The Lazada support is one of the worst, at least they could have initiated an internal investigation to find out the culprit behind this fraud. It would have been more beneficial for them than to me to find such black sheep but they don’t care about their customers and are destroying their already lacking goodwill.
Make sure to make a clear video of all the packages you receive from Lazada and focus on the address and package information and then open it without cutting the video and thoroughly check the item for any defects in the same uncut video. This video will act as a proof against Lazada and their sellers and the shipment company if anything goes wrong.
Lazada is Full of Scammers now
I used to spend thousands on Lazada but now I avoid them altogether. Lazada is now literally full of scammers who sell fake and counterfeit products claiming they are 100% original. I bought a few such items and ended up returning them but that is not the only issue. Lazada’s refund process is a pain in itself. It took me more than 4 months to get my refund that too after several emails and phones and I have lost the shipment fees as it was not refundable. Lazada now clearly sides with the sellers and want to avoid refunds. It’s a shame to see such a good shopping website going downhill.
I can show you hundreds of sellers on Lazada selling fake products so why is it so hard for Lazada team to find them? That only means they are probably together in it.
I am giving them 2 stars just because of their good past otherwise they deserve only one start now

Too many Fraudulent sellers on Lazada
Make sure you check reviews for a seller before ordering anything. Don’t put any expectations on Lazada’s support team for any future refunds and only buy such cheap items that you cannot find elsewhere. May be you should use them for COD only if available and check the item before accepting it.
