I Got Deceived Due to Their Name, never again

I purchased a couple of jackets and some pants from Columbia.com. I bought them using a coupon code and I was glad that I got them in a relatively good price. My happiness turned into anger when I got an email from Columbia.com saying they cannot deliver my order as all of the items I ordered were out of stock. I contacted them to ask why did they not check the items before deducting money from my account upon which they said that this happens sometimes and they will refund my money. I would have accepted their answer if I haven’t seen the same items I orders still shown as available on Columbia.com. I again contacted them and referred them to see the same items I ordered listed as available, this time the support person told me that all this problem was due to the discount code I used and that the discount coupon was actually for different kinds of items. I asked them again that if the coupon code was for different items, then why did your system processed the order and deducted amount from my account upon which they couldn’t give a proper answer.
OK forget about all the above issues, now let me tell you about the painful refund process. I have sent them 5 emails, each time they promised that I will get my refund within a couple of days yet I didn’t get any refund until after a month.
Didn’t see any good in them to mention here. Worst support team, worst shopping experience ever which didn’t even reach the end.
Their system and support team are extremely poor, if they don’t have an item, their system shouldn’t allow the order and not allow payment deduction. Secondly, if they don’t want o give discount for a coupon code, their system shouldn’t allow an order using that discount code. It is totally their fault due to which they kept my money for almost a month, It can even be classified as a scam.
Do not get impressed by their name, instead go and buy the items directly from the store or use any other reputable website. If you don’t trust my review, go ahead and check for Columbia.com reviews on trustpilot and sitejabber too. Don’t do the same mistake I did. Got refund after a month and 5 emails.
