I received a message on my cellphone number today stating I have subscribed to an ISP package which I didn’t. I ignored it but my little son came to me and asked if I have received any message on my cell phone. I asked him why he needed a message from my cell phone, it turned out that Rbxnow.net tricked him into entering my cell phone number for a survey on their website and they were going to give him 10000 Robux if he completed all the offers (which is obviously not going to happen). I was shocked and then tried to use rbxnow.net myself to see how it works.
Here is how they trick your child, first they will ask him/her to enter their Roblox username and then an animation will show fake status updates below showing sentences like “connecting to profile”, “Generating 10000 free robux” and finally ends with “Waiting for human control” and asks for Human verification at which time it will show your kid survey options which basically are just advertisement links to subscribe to miscellaneous services. I am surprise by the low level of these scammers, they don’t even hesitate to scam little kids. Roblox is mostly played by kids and they are the main victim in all such free robux based websites.
Rbxnow.com should immediately be suspended by their web host and the domain should also be revoked by the registry.
They are worst kind of scammers who don’t even spare the kids from their scamming.
Tell your kids to stay away from not only Rbxnow but also all other similar free robux based websites.
